Ada Ehi is a contemporary Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter and performer who came to prominence for her song “Only You Jesus”.
She gained exposure for her song “Congratulations” which boast of over 70 million streams and more than 30 million views on YouTube. She has three albums to her credit and has collaborated with top gospel singers like Nathaniel Bassey and Eben.
Early Life
Ada Ehi was born Ada Ogochukwu Ndukauba on September 18, 1983 in Lagos. She is originally from Imo State, South-east part of Nigeria.
She attended CBN primary school and and FGGC, Sagamu, for her primary and secondaey education respectively. She obtained a bachelors degree in Chemical and Polymer Engineering at the Lagos State University
Career
Ada Ehi began her music career as a back up singer for child star Tosin Jegede at the age of 10.
She came through professionally in 2009 after joining Loveworld Records.
She released her debut album Undenied in Nogember 2009 and followed up with her second album, Lifted and So Fly, in November 2013. She released her third studio album, Future Now, on October 16, 2017. She released “Ada’s EP Vol. 1”, a 5 track EP in 2019 and followed up with an album titled “Born of God” in 2020.
Ada came to the limelight for her song “Only You Jesus”. She gained exposure for her song “Congratulations” which has over 70 million streams and more than 30 million views on YouTube.
She also boast of other spirit lifting songs such as I Overcame, I Testify, On My Matter, Settled, Like This, Our God Reigns, Gallant and so on.
Ever since she joined the Christ Embassy Choir, she has been actively involved in the Music Ministry of Christ Embassy and has performed at Christ Embassy events in several programs around the world.
She has worked with top gospel singers like Eben, Sinach, Samsung, Nathaniel Bassey.

Ada Ehi won the Groove Awards 2017 for West African Artist of the Year, LIMA Song Writer of the Year and Song of the Year in 2017.
She received six nominations at the Maranatha Awards USA which include The Best Female Minister and Song of the Year in 2021.

Ada Ehi got married to Moses Ehi in 2008 and their union is blessed with a daughter named Emma-Jane. She met her husband at Christ Embassy church during one of her rehearsal sessions. Moses Ehi is an entrepreneur and the CEO of FreeNation INC and SoundCode Studios.
